Learn how to set up and use RETA with your Zoom account.
What is RETA?
RETA (Retirement & Estate Transaction Assistant) is an AI-powered platform for insurance and retirement advisors. It automatically captures your Zoom meeting recordings, transcribes them, and generates structured outputs like call summaries, follow-up emails, presentation outlines, CRM notes, and client financial profiles.
Getting Started
- Sign in to RETA — Log in at app.askreta.ai using your authorized account.
- Connect your Zoom account — Navigate to Settings and click Connect Zoom. You'll be redirected to Zoom to authorize RETA.
- Start using RETA — Once connected, your Zoom cloud recordings will automatically sync to RETA for processing.
Connecting Your Zoom Account
RETA uses Zoom's OAuth to securely connect to your account. Here's what happens when you connect:
- Click Connect Zoom in your RETA Settings page.
- You'll be redirected to Zoom's authorization page.
- Review the permissions and click Allow.
- You'll be redirected back to RETA with your account connected.
You can disconnect your Zoom account at any time from the Settings page.
How Recordings Are Processed
- Recording sync — When a Zoom cloud recording is completed, RETA receives a notification and fetches the recording metadata.
- Client matching — RETA matches the recording to a client based on calendar appointments and participant information.
- Transcription — The recording audio is transcribed into text.
- AI processing — RETA's AI generates structured outputs from the transcript, including summaries, follow-up drafts, and financial data extraction.
Available Outputs
- Call Summary — A structured overview of the meeting with key topics, client profile, and next steps.
- Follow-Up — A draft email ready to send to your client after the meeting.
- Slide Outline — A presentation outline based on the discussion.
- CRM Notes — Formatted notes ready to paste into your CRM.
- Advisor Insights — Internal observations and coaching notes.
- Financial Profile — Extracted financial data (income, assets, liabilities, goals) from the conversation.
